Small Events and Parties

Room Rental: $80 + $75 damage deposit. This fee reserves your space and is returned if the venue is left clean and undamaged.

  • Private room reserved for 3 hours

  • Three large round tables, two 4ft tables, up to twenty chairs

  • Food, drink, and decorations may be brought by rentee. These items must remain in rented room to protect exhibits.


Room Rental with Guided Tour (10 guests): $150 + $75 damage deposit. This fee reserves your space and is returned if the venue is left clean and undamaged.

Take a VIP tour of the RRVM! One of our docents will guide you through all 3 permanent exhibits. Learn the stories behind artifacts and famous figures that aren’t written down or are on display!

  • Private room reserved for 3 hours

  • Three large round tables, two 4ft tables, up to twenty chairs

  • Guided tour of all three permanent exhibits. Add additional guests to your tour for $5 each!

  • Food, drink, and decorations may be brought by rentee. These items must remain in rented room to protect exhibits.

Room Rental and Paint Party (10 artists): $150 + $75 damage deposit. This fee reserves your space and is returned if the venue is left clean and undamaged.

Host a party with a creative twist! Select a painting you would like our professional artist on staff to lead your guests through step by step.

  • Private room reserved for 3 hours

  • Three large round tables, up to twenty chairs

  • Additional painters may be added for $10 each

  • Provided by museum: Canvas, paint supplies, instructor and step by step painting instruction, 4 ft table and chair set up for each artist

  • Food, drink, and decorations may be brought by rentee. These items must remain in rented room to protect exhibits.

 


Room Rental and Escape Room: $150 + $75 cleaning deposit. This fee reserves your space and is returned if the venue is left clean and undamaged.

Save the museum from a mischievous spirit released from an ancient artifact before time runs out! Clues will be hidden around the entire museum and guests must solve puzzles to complete their quest. This is best suited for ages 7+ and groups of 2-6 children. Escape room may take anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes to solve depending on assistance from adults.

  • Food, drink, and decorations may be brought by rentee. These items must remain in rented room to protect exhibits.

  • You are one of the last visitors to the museum and as you begin your tour the lights flicker on and off! The security guard is in desperate need of your help. It looks like he has unwittingly unleashed a ghost from an ancient artifact.

    Help find the missing inscription from the sarcophagus and return the spirit to where it came from. Solve the seven puzzles and speak aloud the name and return the museum back to normal!


Building Rental for Large Events:

Rent the entire museum for large events! This package grants you use of the Wright Gallery, our kitchen, and opens up all exhibits for your guests to explore at their own pace.

Starting Cost: $300 + $100 cleaning deposit. This fee reserves your space and is returned if the venue is left clean and undamaged

  • Three large round tables, ten 4ft tables, 30 chairs (outside chairs/tables/décor may be brought in but must be removed once event is complete)

  • Private room reserved for 4 hours. Front lawn and walkway can be used as well.

  • Kitchen space available upon request.

  • Food, drink, and decorations may be brought by rentee. These items must remain in rented room to protect exhibits.

Our art gallery is a wonderful wedding venue for intimate ceremonies!


RENTAL OVERVIEW

  • First 15 minutes of scheduled time are used for set up, last 15 are for clean up

  • Must book at least 2 weeks in advance of party date. Call 940-553-1848 to book.

  • 1/2 payment and damage deposit due upon scheduling to reserve space.

  • Full payment due 7 days prior to Event Date (A person or business who books a private party is responsible for final payment the day of the party, not individual attendees)

  • For 2.5 hour rentals of the Wright Gallery only - you may add additional hours up to 4 for $50 per hour.

  • For rentals of the entire museum you may add additional hours up to 4 for $75 per hour .

  • Must be scheduled for time outside regular business hours.

  • Parties have a 7 day cancellation policy to receive a 50% refund of Deposit.

  • Tables and chairs available on site.

  • Two public bathrooms available.

  • Outside food and drink are welcome.

  • Limited fridge space available (must request in advance).

  • Museum does not supply any refreshments, plates, etc.
